Hidden Threads exists because we are called to go. Our founder and a dedicated crew personally travel into restricted nations, at great personal risk, to hand-deliver Bibles to believers who may never have held one.
This is not a mail-order ministry. We go in person. We are also leading teams of like-hearted believers into the field, equipping and guiding others to carry the Word alongside us.
The Bibles are provided free by generous supporters. What we need is the funding to travel, navigate logistics, and safely reach the people who need them most. Every dollar sends us further and deeper into the places the Word is needed most.

Voices of Hope
After riding together in a taxi, I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me to give the driver a Bible. It was a risk, but I took it. He began to cry, pulled us into a hug, and thanked us with tears of joy. We couldn’t speak his language, but we didn’t need to. God had already prepared that moment long before we arrived. Remember, the Holy Spirit does the ministry. We are just witnesses.
I was really discouraged. Friends were being questioned, and the secret police had been following us for days: no Bibles shared, no Gospel preached. One evening my partner and I just decided to walk around the mall. A group of Muslim teens making Valentine’s Day videos for Instagram waved us over and asked us to be in their video. We said yes, but only if we could share the greatest love story of all time. They agreed. Right there on camera, I got to tell them how God loved us so much He sent His only Son to die for our sins, to pay the debt we could never pay. That by His blood, we are called children of God, and that this gift is free for all. I doubt they’ll ever use that video, but it didn’t matter. It was exactly the encouragement I needed to keep pressing on. I praise God for the opportunity to be a witness for Him.
I was in a restricted Muslim country. My husband was being questioned by the police at the time, so my friend and I just started walking around town. We came across a homeless woman and bought her groceries. Then we went back to the hotel, got her a whole Bible, and gave it to her. ‘If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, go in peace, be warmed and filled, without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?’ (James 2:15–16)
